 History & Founding PastorLiving Hope Church was founded in 2001 as a church plant, which grew out of West Portal Church (our proud parent church). Living Hope Church was planted in the Silverwood community in Saskatoon, a neighborhood with almost twelve thousand people. Pastor Dwayne Harms was given the mission of planting, guiding and growing Living Hope Church. Dwayne did exactly that as our lead pastor from 2001 until 2005 when he lost a brief battle with cancer.
